My Friend Dave Roberts
My friend, Dave from Australia via England interviewed me, Saints Alive Living Testamonies, (S.A.L.T). recently in our home. During his mission trip to USA, he is teaching Christians how to use effectively the internet (Digital Space) to help and reach those who can not get to church. His Podcasts are downloaded in many countries and China having the largest percentage of downloads daily.
Dave Roberts & I have been friends since early 2006 when we met on Flickr, a photo sharing site. After a few months and meeting many Christian friends, I was invited to a private group ( a prayer chain) to pray for people all over the world. Since it was more difficult to share our faith openly while sharing and interacting on photos, many of us gradually went to Facebook. We still share our photos on Flickr, but sharing our faith and prayers on Facebook becomes more open to others Although, we still have private prayer request the person in need can read the prayers and respond in private.
Dave with his prayers and encouragement during many serious health problems I was having, asked God to heal my body, mind and spirit. All done through Digital Space. Sometime, in the near future, I will talk about how God has healed me and enabled me to do everyday chores that most people take for granted. Oh! One other thing Dave did to encourage me, was to use my photo images and made video named "Praise Him, Praise Him". I will never forget the Godly Spirit and kindness this man gives out to others.
